With over 50 nationalities of students enrolled, the School community is home to both local and international families living in Perth. By exploring local, national and global issues within the classroom, students develop international-mindedness, strong values and a responsibility to be socially aware and take action in the communities they are part of.
Our Facilities
The school offers everything necessary to support a world-class education for students. In addition to large classrooms, the school includes science labs, drama studios, art studios, e-learning centres, library, gymnasium, tennis courts and basketball courts, large playing fields and nature based playgrounds.

Learning at ISWA follows the Western Australian curriculum through the globally recognised International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme. This educational approach is internationally admired for its academic and personal rigour. Academic Excellence
ISWA is consistently ranked as one of Australia’s top schools for the National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN). Our students are performing above average in all year levels and subjects compared to the state, national and international averages. Given that for many of our students, English is their second language, the results are even more impressive. The IB programme also provides a highly suitable environment for gifted and talented students.
