In a spacious and unique learning environment, Noosa Christian College is set on a beautiful rural campus in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast.

The College is a co-educational day school catering for students in Kindergarten to Year 12 for students regardless of their religious affiliation, ethnic background, gender or national origin.

We are proud to offer a quality academic program in a supportive environment that allows students to reach their full potential. Our College also provides a range of stimulating outdoor activities to further develop the physical aspects of learning.

Variety and Purpose

Recognising that education is more than just academics, Noosa Christian College engages learning through wholistic programs and activities that build the Mind, Body and Heart of each individual.

A broad range of experiences are provided to ensure that life at school is always full.

Quality Education

Kindergarten:
Our not-for-profit Kindergarten operates on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during school terms. We aim to provide the highest quality care, education and endeavour to partner closely with parents in the learning journey.

Primary College:
Noosa Christian College is committed to 21st century learning which encourages critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaborative learning. Our goal is to prepare students for the future through a balanced education that stimulates and engages their learning across a range of academic subject areas in accordance with Government requirements. As students move through the Primary years, they utilise the Computer Labs in the Library Resource Centre, and our laptop trolleys to enrich their literacy, numeracy, problem-solving, typing and research skills. Furthermore, they develop an understanding Microsoft Office suite and are assisted in the challenge to use other applications and web tools.

Secondary College:
At Noosa Christian College we enable a nurturing transition into Secondary for Year 7 students with purpose-built systems and structures in our Year 7 program to ensure your child does not get lost in the ‘big school’ environment.

Along with Core subjects including Maths, English, Humanities and Science that are studied as a class, our Secondary students have many electives to choose from such as: Design - Food and Fashion; Design - Engineering & Materials; Furnishings, Drama, Music, Marine Science, Design, Media Arts, & Digital Technologies, Literature, Visual Arts, Psychology, to name a few, and are also able to study Cert II & III in Hospitality, Cert II & III in Sport and Recreation, Cert II in Automotive and experience work placement, giving students the opportunity and valuable insight into a workplace and a taste for their potential career preferences.

Sport

In addition to the scheduled sessions of physical activity during class time, Primary students also participate in scheduled blocks of sport each week that include Swimming lessons, Gymnastics and Athletics training, Futsal, Surf Skills and Surf Lifesaving.

Secondary students engage in a weekly sports program that continues through to Year 12 and are offered the choice of a variety of recreational sport options, including: Surf Skills, Surfing, Tennis, Lawn Bowls, Mountain Climbing, Soccer, Team Sports, Pilates, Fishing, Cable Wakeboarding and Beach Sports.

Extracurricular sport activities include touch football and basketball with touch football training on Monday after school and games on Tuesday at Coolum Touch Fields. Basketball training is on Thursdays after school then games are on Thursday evening at Clippers Stadium, Buderim.

Infant Choir & Primary College Choir

The Noosa Christian College Infant Choir and Primary College Choir offers students from Prep to Year 6 the opportunity to enjoy singing and music, while working together to produce a selection of songs for school and community events.

Senior School Extracurricular Programs

Year 7-9 Camps are based at different Sunshine Coast locations and rotate each year with students participating in a fantastic variety of outdoor challenges. The Year 7-9 students also participate in a week-long "Summerfest" wellbeing program at the end of each year which is terrific fun and they get to travel to different locations to compete in challenges such as the Noosa Treasure Hunt, play games, hang out at the beach etc.

G.R.I.T. stands for Generosity, Resilience, Integrity, Thoughtfulness. This program which is part of the College curriculum involves bush walking, abseiling, hiking, camping, service projects, learning new skills and ‘Urban Days’ in Brisbane. Our Year 9 students learn to stretch, develop and grow their ability to adapt, create and persevere. There is an annual Year 9 Survivor Camp.

In Year 10 our RAW Impact Service Trip to Mitchell, south west Queensland is always an amazing time away. Our students display exceptional behaviour, attitude, impact and respect.
As a Christian College we hold service and community high, and the opportunity to work in an Indigenous community, connect, serve, and spend time away from devices is exciting for us.

Year 11 students participate in an annual Sydney trip, while Year 12 students fly to Vanuatu for a service trip.
