Founded in 1908, Roseville College is a non-selective day school for girls in Kindergarten to Year 12 known for its Christian faith, participation, leadership and strong community, where each girl matters.
Here, she is part of a family-like community where she is known and where she can foster relationships to sustain her in her learning, wellbeing and life beyond the school gates. Our vision is to equip each girl with a deep sense of purpose for learning, for character and for who she can become. And our teachers provide a rigorous, personalised learning pathway that challenges and supports her in that vision.
The College is reputed for consistently strong results in the HSC and in all areas of learning. It is the only North Shore school to offer the prestigious, world recognised Cambridge International Courses in Years 9 – 10, while also delivering the IB PYP in the Junior years.
The College excels at preparing girls for post-school pathways, with university entry a dominant preference for Roseville graduates. In fact, University applicants from Roseville College achieve a high rate of pre-HSC early admission and leadership entry offers because of the College’s strong partnerships with tertiary institutions and the reputation of Roseville learners; they are in high demand. HSC results are published annually in an HSC Outcomes document at www.rosevillecollege.com.
In the School’s caring, well-resourced surrounds, each girl engages in opportunities that are personally challenging to achieve both curricular and valuable transferable learning outcomes. Across the spectrum of College life, she is empowered to leverage who she is with what she knows (and what she has courage to try) to identify and affect positive change on the world around her; to lead, inquire, inspire and serve others.
The College offers a well-rounded and rigorous education, with a breadth of academic and co-curricular opportunities to encourage each girl to participate enthusiastically in school life, achieving her best standard as a leader of herself, and of others. Alongside the important work of her academic learning, our priority is on a balanced education that also develops her physical, spiritual and emotional wellbeing.
The College is known for – and remains committed to the wellbeing and health of its girls. Student wellbeing is vital because to learn well, students must also be well. The College’s well-resourced Wellbeing Department, with its team of psychologists and counsellors, works alongside our teaching staff to provide guidance and qualified support, and assists each girl in developing the tools to help her proactively understand and manage her own wellbeing as she matures.
