Mature Age Students

The term "Mature Age Student" refers to anyone who is over 18 and has been out of formal education for more than a year. Students who are 21 years or over on the first of January are considered Adult Students. Some secondary Schools may offer the Mature Age Student or the Adult Student an opportunity to study and complete their High School education. Due to life circumstances, the Mature Age Student or Adult Student will often choose to study via Distance Education.
