These scholarships assist Senior School students with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage to attend Whitsunday Anglican School (WAS), recognise their past academic achievements, support their future endeavours and to encourage the development of Indigenous leadership.
The Homework and Tutorial Scheme (HATS) has been a unique part of the School’s offerings for over a decade. We offer a Homework Assistance (Junior School) and Tutorial Scheme (Senior School) free of charge. Students, formally from Year 4 onwards, are encouraged to be involved in this optional internal tuition program to further enhance the depth of knowledge of the student’s curriculum areas.
