St Brendanís College boasts a broad and extensive sporting program. The sporting prowess of the College is well-known throughout Queensland as St Brendanís is a powerhouse for Rugby League talent. In the Multi-Purpose Hall students can enjoy such sports as basketball, gymnastics, volleyball and badminton. The Hall also has an indoor running track and weights gym. St Brendanís College has expansive sporting fields, a 25 metre heated swimming pool, rodeo arena, turf cricket pitch and a challenging 6 kilometre cross country course all within the confines of the property.
The growth in recent years of the cultural life of St Brendanís College has been a remarkable achievement, particularly with the introduction of the Instrumental Band Program into the curriculum. There is a comprehensive instrumental program allowing students the opportunity to study any instrument and voice training with quality tutors. Young men's social graces are developed through social contacts with students from other schools, at inter-school dances and at formal dinners.
The Residences for boarding students at St Brendanís College are modern and comfortable and can cater for up to 350 boarders. The Waterford Dining Complex provides satisfying nutritional meals. The studentsí educational needs are well catered for with individual and group areas for study.
