Pacific Hope School is a co-educational Christian special school welcoming the enrolment of students diagnosed with mild/moderate intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder for whom a mainstream school environment is not suitable.
At Pacific Hope School we deliver a tailored curriculum, ranging from regular syllabus material presented with appropriate accommodation through to individual Education Plans.
We offer differentiated learning spaces, timetables and pedagogies.
We also operate as a separate school within the grounds of Pacific Coast Christian School but with access to Pacific Coast's facilities and events.
Every child that is a student at Pacific Hope School is honoured by having the dignity their unique individuality deserves recognised and respected. Special Learning provisions and individualised learning experiences are not provided as an act of generosity but of justice.
Pacific Hope School provides challenging learning experiences tailored to match the present and future needs of each student. The school offers curriculum prepared and presented by expert teachers in small classes but also provides the benefits of large school experiences.
Delivering a strong education grounded in the truths and values of Christian faith and providing a clear direction for learning and for life, Pacific Hope School will help each student find meaning and purpose for today, for tomorrow and for eternity.
Striving with God's help to not only achieve excellence as a product but to practice it as a process, Pacific Hope School will inspire all members of its community to achieve highly and to grow individually to be all that God destined them to be.
