About Us

Lighthouse Christian College is a Christian, co-educational private school catering for all levels of education from Kindergarten (3-year-old) to V.C.E. (Year 12).
The College has grown from small beginnings in 1989 to become an established and recognised education facility. The Keysborough campus is situated on the 4.5 hectare Lighthouse Christian Community Centre property and it is planned for a future total enrolment of 925 students. The College also plans to establish other campuses in association with local churches.

Our Vision

The major focus of the College in ‘raising children with purpose’ is to aspire for holistic education inclusive of spiritual and academic excellence. It is therefore the mission of the College to partner with parents in providing a Christ-centred teaching and learning environment in which students can flourish.

Multi-Campus School

Lighthouse Christian College is a multi campus school supplying a Christian education across two suburbs of Melbourne with expansion plans into Point Cook and Warranwood.

Early Learning Centre

Our program encourages children to explore confidently, experiment, be creative and articulate their experiences through play. We strongly believe young children thrive in routine as consistency gives them a sense of security and a good discipline needed for learning. It also builds trust between themselves and their teachers, which help develop a sense of belonging in their environment.

Primary School:

The primary department of Lighthouse Christian College offers students high quality learning opportunities, in a well established and caring environment. Students are regarded as unique individuals and their God-given abilities and talents are nurtured to enable each individual to reach their potential.

Middle School and Senior School

Lighthouse Christian College aims to provide an engaging and joyful experience of schooling which is specifically suited to the developmental needs of students in Years Five, Six and Seven.
This experience of schooling encompasses not only the formal curriculum structured around the key learning areas of Christian Studies, English, Mathematics, Science, Studies of Society and the Environment, Technology, the Arts, and Health and Physical Education, but also addresses the social, emotional, physical and spiritual development of students through activities and programs within and outside the classroom.

The mission of our Senior School is to pursue academic excellence built on Godly Character.
The College offers a variety of VCE subjects and Vocational Educational Training (VET) programs. Our academic program includes a VCE acceleration program, providing students with a head start, and Learning Assistance is available as needed. We offer small classes, caring and committed staff, a disciplined approach to study, and teaching of Godly values.
Our VCE results have been consistently above state averages with our best performing student being in the top 1.5% of the state.
