A place where kids can find and follow their own path
At SCOTS PGC College, we help our boys and girls to find their passion and fulfill their potential. Regardless of the pathway they choose to pursue, what’s important to us is that we’re able to support them as they journey towards their future.
A belief that we needn’t be one type of school, over another, means we hold all pathways in high regard. It’s why you’ll find some of our students achieving exceptional results in the academic arena, some excelling in school-based apprenticeships or traineeships and others completing a qualification to get them workplace ready. |

SCOTS PGC College has two historic boarding campuses three kilometres apart. The girls have a beautiful setting with the home of ‘Glenbrae’ at PGC and the boys’ campus is on the banks of the Condamine River.
Principal Michael Harding said this year there are 480 students attending the College in 2010. “Every student is treated as an individual and we want them to grow into confident young men and women,” he said.
“When a student leaves home for boarding school it is a big adjustment.”
“You not only want them to achieve their best academically but to enjoy the experience of being an extended family. The caring and committed academic, sporting and boarding staff at the SCOTS PGC College assists with academic tutoring and literacy support and Senior students are given the opportunity to do student-based traineeships across a number of industries.

Active minds need activity. That’s why we offer more than 25 co-curricular activities and encourage our students to participate in as many as possible.
Co-curricular activities at SCOTS PGC College include the Pipe Band, Equestrian, Cattle and Sheep Club along with the comprehensive sporting competition among the TAS schools in Brisbane.
Whether it’s a sport, activity, club, band or service initiative, these experiences play an incredibly important role in a child’s development. It’s here where potential is often unleashed, confidence is gained, grit is grown, and passions are discovered over time. It’s why we believe that getting kids to ‘move and do’ is perhaps one of the simplest but most powerful ways we can support them in their learning and their character development.
