Children have opportunity to discover new skills, forge new relationships and learn from adults other than their teachers and parents through a range of learning experiences that take place outside of the everyday classroom. Programs that assist in developing a family friendly culture within Living Faith Lutheran Primary School include lunch time club activities (eg Robotics), buddy relationships between senior and junior students and musical productions. Highlights of the Living Faith culture are sporting opportunities whereby students are encouraged represent the school in individual and team sports within the regional district, nationals and Inter-Lutheran; as well as a violin program for all Year 2 students.

January 2015 saw the inception of Living Faith Lutheran Kindergarten. Conveniently located on the same grounds as the school, the kindergarten is run under a long day care model from 6:30am to 6:00pm 50 weeks per year. It comprises two rooms, with 22 children per room, specialising in care for children the year before they commence Prep.
At Living Faith Lutheran Kindergarten, all children are seen as unique and special creations of God. The distinct Living Faith Christian ethos is expressed through the culture of the kindergarten, all teaching and learning experiences, pastoral care of children and staff, policies and practices.
A wide range of perspectives and understanding are embraced, fostering a strong play based learning environment where children are co-creators of their learning journeys. Children’s development is supported through asking questions, which in turn helps children to seek solutions and encourages them to experiment and problem solve. Children are encouraged to develop a cooperative culture that supports taking risks and expressing ideas.
