St Andrew’s provides an exclusively primary education from our Early Learning Centre through to Year 6, based on Christian values, at our world-class campuses in Walkerville, located just 5km from the city centre.
St Andrew’s students are empowered to embrace their uniqueness and amplify their individual greatness, for the betterment of the community and the world.
Our grounds, learning spaces, resources, and educators set the benchmark for primary education and provide the ideal foundation for learning, self-discovery, and lifelong leadership.
We exist to nurture greatness in every child. Established in 1850, St Andrew’s is the oldest independent primary school in the state. We have been educating South Australia’s brightest and bravest minds for over 170 years, forging generations of leaders through our uncompromising focus on individual success. |

To nurture greatness, we support, guide, and challenge our students to achieve their best, in and out of the classroom.
Each student is different, with unique strengths and passions. At St Andrew’s School, we aim to support each student to develop their unique skills, passions and interests so they can develop their own vision of success.
We begin by creating a sense of belonging and emphasising the importance of positive relationships, social and emotional development, and proactive wellbeing learning.
Our inquiry-based learning curriculum, Specialist Curriculum and Extra Curricular activities are inclusive of all learners and provide endless opportunities for students to pursue their unique interests, or discover a new passion. |

St Andrew’s Early Learning Centre provides the perfect environment for our young people to discover, explore, create and establish a lifelong love of learning.
The St Andrew’s School Early Learning Centre welcomes children from three years of age and, depending on their birth date, children can then progress to either January or Mid-Year Reception intakes at St Andrew’s School.
Our Early Learning Centre is guided by the Reggio Emilia Philosophy, the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme. Underpinning all we do is our image of children being capable, competent, curious, full of wonder with endless potential and possibilities.
St Andrew’s School’s Early Learning Centre provides a Vacation Care Program for our Early Learning Centre and junior primary students. There are limited places available.
Our Vacation Care Program allows children to be cared for in a friendly, familiar and supportive environment during the holiday time. Staff are predominantly teachers from the Early Learning Centre who have built up strong and trusting relationships with the children over one, or many years, as they progress through St Andrew’s School. |

St Andrew’s will continue to have two Reception entry points each year as we believe that by having two intakes, one in Term 1 and the second in July, we are able to meet the educational needs of the children. |
