St Vincent's College is one of the oldest Catholic day and boarding schools for girls in Australia.

Students at St Vincent's College benefit from a long and fine tradition of learning and teaching success. Broad Curriculum

In Years 7 and 8 at St Vincent's College Students follow a common curriculum comprising Religious Studies, English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, French and German, Technology, Visual Arts, Music and Personal Development, Health and Physical Education.

In Years 9 and 10 students at St Vincent's College follow a core curriculum that comprises Religious Studies, English, Mathematics, Science, Australian History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship, Personal Development, Health and Physical Education.

Additional studies reflecting the students' abilities and interests are chosen from Commerce, Design and Technology, Drama, French, Geography, History, German, Music, Visual Arts, Dance, Digital and Multi Media and Physical and Sports Studies.

In Years 11 and 12 at St Vincent's College there is a very wide selection of subjects catering to the interests of students in the sciences, languages, a wide variety of humanities subjects including business and legal studies and arts subjects including visual art, drama, dance and music.

TAFE delivered Vocational Education Training courses are available to students seeking dual accreditation through the NSW Board of Studies.

Personal attention is given to those students with special abilities and needs.

Careers advice is offered to students on an individual and group basis.

Rich Co-curricular program

The students of St Vincent's College enjoy the benefits of an exciting and extensive co-curricula programme that nurtures mind, body and spirit and builds individual confidence and self-esteem. Students can participate in classes such as dance, Performance Arts, acting, debating, public speaking, choral and instrumental music, the Mock Trial Competition and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

All ensembles, choirs and soloists have many and varied performance opportunities at St Vincent's College. These include the College Musical and Drama Productions, Performing Arts Concerts, Soirees, recitals, eisteddfods, festivals, Liturgical celebrations and College assemblies.

St Vincent's College's Sport Programme attracts high levels of participation by all students. Students are encouraged to choose at least one team or individual sport each term from an extensive range of options including basketball, netball, hockey, softball, volleyball, touch, soccer, water polo, athletics, cross country, swimming, diving and skiing.

Boarding Community

The Boarding Community is a pivotal part of St Vincent's College. It strives to provide an environment that enhances learning and supports the spiritual, emotional and physical development of the girls.

The aims of the Boarding House at St Vincent’s College, Potts Point are to provide our Boarders with the opportunities to develop independence, effective and meaningful relationships, responsibilities to themselves and others, the ability to share space and facilities, resilience and to develop their relationship with God through personal and communal encounters. This will be done in a caring and supportive environment.

The Boarding Staff play a very important role in promoting the values of St Vincent's College and making our school special. They nurture whole people, well rounded in academia, faith development, sport, drama, music and culture. Our girls' self-esteem, resilience, spontaneity and curiosity are highly valued.
