Arden is a vibrant Christian-based, Pre-School to Year 12 school, providing a positive learning environment that inspires girls and boys to thrive. Arden is small enough to care, yet big enough to challenge.
We’re small enough to provide for each child individually, nurture them and help them become well-educated young people. At Arden we’re also big enough that our dedicated staff has the resources to help your child develop into a capable, well-rounded individual, with an emphasis on Christian values.
Since the Beecroft campus opening in 1922, we remain committed to being a child-centred, parent-friendly school. From Pre-School through to Year 6 and right through to Year 12, girls and boys are encouraged to do their best while they are cared for in a nurturing environment with our devoted staff ensuring each child gets the attention they need.
Arden provides quality programs in Gifted and Talented education, as well as Learning Support and Enrichment. There are many opportunities for enriched learning experiences, for instance, a violin program in Year 2 and programs designed to explore creativity and develop leadership potential. At Arden we also offer a wide range of sports as well as co-curricular activities including debating, French Club, dance groups, bands and choirs.
At Arden, our pastoral system creates a nurturing environment for social development and academic growth. It also emphasises what is special about each child and shows them that their contributions to the school community really matter.
Our ethos at Arden aims to develop children who are not just well-educated but are also well-rounded young people who are ready to serve and to lead.

We are very proud of our 2017 HSC results, with Arden ranked 62nd school in NSW and 30% of students achieving an ATAR higher than 90. Many students achieved personal best results in each of their subjects, exceeding their own expectations yet fulfilling the faith and belief of each subject teacher; reflecting our ethos of well-known, well-cared for and well-taught at Arden.
This success begins right from our Primary School level with our strong NAPLAN testing system as well as the external testing systems we apply.
Our Primary School has had a number of children who have competed at Combined Independent Schools competitions in athletics, swimming and cross country running, in the past few years.
Arden has had many outstanding athletes, represent at State, National and International level on both an individual level and as a school. We are also very proud of our children’s participation rates in sports on Saturdays. Each term, a number of teams compete well against other schools in a range of sports.
All these pursuits help us to help parents nurture and develop children who are not just well-educated but are also well-rounded young people who are ready to serve and to lead.
